I finally followed my heart’s longing and subscribed to NetFlix. Heidi and I talked about it before we moved up here but we just couldn’t afford it. But we canceled our TV service and for a fraction of the price we can enjoy unlimited videos delivered right to our rural route mailbox AND now you can stream videos instantly on your computer (that is if you have a high speed internet connection which I thought we did until I tried to stream the videos – Oh, how I miss cable internet).
I’m like a kid in a candy store. We’ve been watching streams of the original British The Office. For our first two movies we watched Eight Below and Beowulf which sucked mightily. That pretty much surpasses the total number of movies we watched all of last year.
Watch out world! I’m unemployed and I have NetFlix. My life will never be the same.
We have a local library that is fairly large. 1 week rentals, no charge. Now if I could just get Tamara to rent something less ‘chicky’ I’d be fine.
