I have changed. Thank God for that! I am no longer a post-modern, emergent, urban church planter. I am me. And I kinda like it.
For those who know the old me, this blog might be kind of a change. I don’t know. I’m still me, but everything has changed. And I need to write about the changes that are happening around me.
This blog will be about my joys, struggles, triumphs and defeats of unlearning and learning in my new modern, traditional, rural, established-church context.
I think it will be alright.

Golly gee… We like the “new you” Jeff… although you’ve kinda been like a little caterpillar really… since you’ve been changing since we met… and you’re growing so lovely and blossoming into a beautiful butterfly…
okay…a;slkdjf;asldkjf;aslkdjf;asdljf;asdljf;sadlkjf… that was horrible, but I had to say it… it’s late.
So, is you’re wife changing too, cuz that would make all four of us really interesting… I wonder what things will be like when it’s all done and we look back on this 10 years from now…
I speak for Mike (which never happens as you know) when I say we’re glad that we’re going through all of this with you and Heidi, and we’re thankful that the Lord caused our paths to cross… and I’m sure it wasn’t to get us used to being “in-laws”… ahem…
I feel so cheated! I was looking for a post-modern, emergent, urban church planter to dissect and this is what I get.
I had high hopes of learning and understanding how the mind that only sees shades of gray works. I wanted to understand how one would define relative truth, but your truth now is that everyone is someone’s relative.
I’m so glad that miss dandelion and I get to share in your metamorphosis.
And don’t be thinkin’ about the ways that you can be our relative.
Who’s your pal?
Like the new blog flavor! Yee Haw!
Hey, once you guys are related we will have to watch out or all of us could be related. Then everyone can be a member of the founding family of the chuch. asdlkjjkdfl;jldfjklf;djafdjkafjd
Oh. i crack myself up.
It’s nice to see you blogging again.
Change is good. Represents growth, right?
